Secof Construction prides itself on quality of each home we build. It is in the attention to details during construction that sets us apart and produces homes of quality without compromise.

The list below is typical byt may differ slightly in each neighborhood.  Please refer to the standard features of each home and neighborhood for contract purposes.

Building Components

  • Each home is built with a Dupont Tyvek Weatherization system providing the homeowner with a 10-year (from date of install) weatherization warranty. Dupont says it best: "It is not just good sense, it's good building practice."
  • Windows and Exterior doors are installed by trained specialists and sealed against leaks using the Dupont Tyvek Weatherization system
  • Silverline by Anderson windows come with a Limited Lifetime warranty (see attached)
  • Jeld-Wen exterior doors are made with "frame-saver" jambs (see attached)
  • Fiberglass exterior doors by Jeld-Wen are both dent resistance and rust free
  • Monolithic slab construction eliminates the many problems created by moisture in houses built on crawl spaces.
  • A combination of brick and vinyl exterior creates a low maintenance, aesthetically pleasing homes that will last for years to come.
  • 30 year architectural shingles are installed on each roof
  • Azek trim boards are used in lieu of wood on the exterior of the each home. AZEK Trimboards have the look, feel and sound of premium lumber without any of the maintenance issues associated with wood products
  • A water shut -off is located in the garage of each home for the convenience to the homeowner.
  • 13-seer (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) heat pumps are installed in each home, which means more energy savings for the homeowner
  • Dryer vent connection are neatly placed within the wall saving valuable space in each laundry room
  • 10 year bonded builders warranty is provided with each home
Personal Attention
  • Each Secof home is thoroughly supervised throughout construction
  • Each home is supervised daily by an on-site superintendent who is responsible for completed numerous quality checklists along the way
  • Our Quality and Warranty Manager performs an inspection on each home prior to closing
  • Each homeowner is invited for a pre-closing walk-through to receive a guided room-by-room tour to demonstrate the quality features and operating procedures for all aspects of the home.
  • Secof is there after the closing too!! We will follow up with each homeowner 30 days, 4 months, and 11 months after a closing.
